Al-Abaytah Road Rehabilitation

Improving safety and the visual and environmental scene of Al-Abaytah road and its adjacent wadi along 5 km.

Launched after the approval of Al-Uyaynah and Al-Jubaylah Municipality, the project raises the safety level and improves the visual and environmental scene of the road and its adjacent wadi by treating erosion, organising the carriageway, upgrading lighting, rehabilitating the wadi and planting along the site.

Highlights

Carriageway: treating settlements and edge erosion, re-paving sections with a protective asphalt strip, and stone edges separating the road from the wadi.
Lighting: new poles along the whole stretch for night-time safety and a clear visual presence.
Wadi and planting: stepped stone terraces against erosion, reshaping the watercourse and planting suitable desert trees and shrubs.
